We are currently securing our first property and are not accepting move-ins yet.

The washer and dryer and other listed amenities are planned for the first property and will be confirmed in the property-specific written agreement before move-in.

Housing built around dignity, stability, and independence.
Our first priority is helping veterans—including veterans transitioning from homelessness—find a dependable place to live. We also plan to serve other veterans and adults age 55 and older who can live independently in a shared-home setting.

Co-founded by service-disabled U.S. Army veteran Dwayne Brown and Meelashy White, Humble Abode Living LLC is being built to offer dependable, furnished housing with clear expectations and a respectful shared-home environment.
We understand that stability begins with the basics: a clean room, working utilities, internet access, household essentials, and a place where residents can focus on what comes next.

As 100% owner and highest officer, Dwayne retains final decision-making authority over contracts, finances, policies, hiring, pricing, long-term decisions, and daily business control.
Meelashy White Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer (Non-Member)
Oversees delegated operating workflows, community outreach, referral coordination, events, and administrative systems while reporting to Dwayne Brown. Her co-founder title is an organizational and historical designation and does not confer ownership, equity, membership, voting rights, Managing Member status, or final company control.
